To anyone considering diving in Tenerife:

Myself and a friend decided to go on a diving trip to Tenerife, we found Aqua-Marina on the internet and were glad we did. Firstly it was simple to organize, a quick phone call and we were booked in…(no hassles), when we arrived the keys for the apartment which Aqua-Marina had organized were waiting for us, although we didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment it was nicer then many we have stayed in on previous diving trips, clean and nice with all usual mod cons (and everything worked!!)

The dive school is well equipped, plenty of everything in all sizes, all was in perfect condition; The staff were friendly and knew well what they were doing (one of them fixed my reg for me at 30M after I got sand in it and it went into freeflow!!! No drama, and we got on with our dive) Before each dive everything was explained so we knew exactly what we would be doing. The equipment room is about 100ft from where the boat picked us up, so none of those nasty hikes wearing full gear which was a mercy!!

Diving was good and there seemed to be an abundance of dive sites so even on bad weather days we still got to a dive site with good viz and plenty to see, (though I’m gonna have to go back to see the turtles as I ran out of time) I can’t remember the names of most of the fish but the were lots of them!! However Stingrays, Barracuda and Moray Eels made many an appearance. Not too much by way of seaweed (being a volcanic Island) but plenty of cliffs, stacks, overhangs, caves and swim throughs.

So would I recommend them to somebody?... Definitely yeah, nice folk and good diving. Cheers!!

Hi All. Back in cold, grey UK and to add to the blues, our heating boiler had packed up so house stone cold when we got back at 03:30. No matter, still had a great holiday and the dive to El Puertito with Emma was the best I've ever had, including the turtle and dragonfish.

Thank you for the suggestion of
