How It Works

• Select which course you wish to enrol on
• Register yourself - if you have used the button on this website you will already be affiliated to Aqua-Marina.
• At your own pace complete knowledge assessments
• While you're working through the course online or after you complete all the segments, you can print your eLearning record and bring it in to our dive centre to start your underwater adventures.
• Contact us at any time if you require advice and to book your diving part of the course.

Once the you have completed the online part of your course you will come to our dive centre to complete the remainder of the diving.

PADI Open Water Diver Course Online

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular and widely recognized scuba diving certification program in the world! As a certified PADI Open Water Diver you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional.

Throughout the course, you'll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five confined water dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water (ocean) dives.

All this can be completed in just 3 days and we will provide all the necessary training materials so that all you will need to bring is yourself.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course Online

If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification. After your five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment.

You must be already certified as a PADI Open Water Diver (or hold an equivalent certification from another agency) in order to enrol on this course. Select 5 dives from the following list for online study (must include Deep Diver & Underwater Navigator):

Enriched Air NITROX theory

The programme covers both theoretical and operational considerations of using enriched air with 22% - 40% oxygen.

Diving with Nitrox is particularly useful for those with a heavy diving schedule as it cuts risk by reducing Nitrogen loading. The dives using enriched air are optional so you can elect to spend just one day on the course doing theory and simulating the dives or spend an extra day doing two dives using enriched air. Full NITROX certification is awarded for this theory only course.
