Palm Mar CaveLevel: 3 / Max depth: 35 metresFrom an anchorage in 16m we first make our way down a wall where we will find many varieties of Morays hiding in the cracks. At the end of the wall we make our way to some magnificent pinnacle structures that you can weave your way around and pay your respect to the Virgin del Carmen statue that was laid in 32m for protection of both divers and fishermen of the island. You can look out into the abyss and marvel at the garden eel carpet. As you make your way into 26 meters you will be at the cave entrance. However this is not to be penetrated due to it leading into a maze. A small cross at the entrance is a reminder of those who went in and never came back out. The mouth of the cave has enough to keep you occupied as it is home to several tiger and brown morays. A deep divers favourite!
